Research and Teaching Centres:

  • Research, Consulting and Training Center:  RCTC is a hosting umbrella of research, consultation and training at UoT, in collaboration with academic departments. The RCTC plays an important role in research planning and funding.
  • Medical Skills Center:  Provides technical support for medical and medical-related students to polish their skills and capabilities.
  • Modern Languages Center: MLC at UoT is a specialized place for languages learning, and provides many language programs by expert teachers for staff and students. Moreover, the center provides courses to suit the client or partner’s needs, such as business and exams preparation courses for Cambridge professional certifications such as TKT, CELTA and DELTA, and IELTS and TOEFL exams preparation courses.
  • Dental Teaching Hospital: Provides free dental services for the local community, and supports teaching and training of dentistry students.
  • Veterinary Teaching Clinic: Provides veterinary diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical services, and supports student teaching and training, and research at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
  • Media Laboratory: Provides technical support and training for students at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Media and strives to make the Libyan media a responsible one.
  • Agriculture Research Station:  A landmark area at UoT which covers a large area and plays an important role in teaching and research not only for the staff and students of Faculty of Agriculture but also a landscape for other students.

 

Community Services

  • Forum of Political Dialogue: To help create respect for the opponent view and establish the culture of coexistence.
  • University Initiative for Drafting the Libyan Constitution.
  • Hosting Internally Displaced Students to complete their studies: An initiative by the UoT to accommodate all displaced students from all regions of conflict to give them the opportunity to continue their studies.
  • University Radio.
  • University Cultural Club: A platform to discuss and analyse major issues affecting Libya whether they are economic, social, educational, cultural or security-related.
