خطط ومعايير الميتاداتا وعلاقتها بقواعد الفهرسة- RDA -دراسة نظرية

الملخص

تعد الميتاداتا الوسيلة الرئيسية لجعل البحث عن المصادر الالكترونية على شبكة الانترنت أكثر كفاءة، وتحقق فائدة ذات قيمة عالية لمؤلفي و منشئي المصادر الالكترونية و مقدمي خدمات الانترنت والناشرين، لأنها تساعدهم في اكتشاف المصادر التي يقدمونها و الوصول اليها والتعامل معها، كما تعد الميتاداتا مصدرا أساسيا لأخصائي المعلومات و المكتبات في بناء التسجيلات الببليوغرافية التي يعدها لوصف المصادر الالكترونية على شبكة الانترنت.

       و تهتم هذه الدراسة بموضوع معايير الميتاداتا و علاقتها بقواعد الفهرسة (RDA )،  وتهدف الى التعرف على الميتاداتا و أهميتها في المكتبات و مراكز المعلومات ، وفوائدها في تنظيم المعلومات الالكترونية ، والتعرف على خطط ومعايير الميتاداتا ، كما انها تهدف الى التعرف على قواعد وصف المصادر واتاحتها ( RDA ) و علاقته بالتقنينات والمعايير الأخرى للفهرسة ومعايير الميتاداتا ، و استعانت الدراسة بأدبيات الموضوع المتعلقة بموضوع الدراسة  .

Abstract

Metadata is the main means of making searching for electronic resources on the Internet more efficient, and it achieves a high value benefit for authors and creators of electronic resources, Internet service providers and publishers, because it helps them discover, access and deal with the resources they provide. Metadata is also a basic source for information and library specialists in building bibliographic records that they prepare to describe electronic resources on the Internet. This study is concerned with the subject of metadata standards and their relationship to cataloging rules (RDA), and aims to identify metadata and its importance in libraries and information centers, and its benefits in organizing electronic information, and to identify metadata plans and standards, as it aims to identify the rules of describing and making resources available (RDA) and its relationship to other cataloging and metadata standards, and the study made use of the literature on the subject related to the subject of the study
