Abstract

Orientalist studies of the Arab and Islamic heritage have been going for Centuries. Some of these studies have been subjective with advanced judements. They presented  a certain image of the Arabs and Islam. Others sought with objectivity in an attempt to disclose the treaures of this heritage from its sciences. However, these studies, could not in any way reach a point of perfection, and contemplation of orientalist studies can show framed opinions more or less, taking into account that  absolute objectivity cannot be realized in many of these  studies. This research will attempt to consider one study of the Orientalist Studies. That is the of Johann Fück's (Arabic: A Study in Language, Dialects, and Techniques). My paper is an attempt to review that study and examine its content, summarizing it and showing some of its shortages.
