Overview

Computer course and its code GA311: It is taught to students in the third academic year of the Department of Arabic Language, at a rate of two hours per week. In this course, the student studies computer technology and its uses.

The course aims to:

Introduce the student to computer technology and the use of its peripherals.

- Highlighting the most significant office or basic application programs that the student needs during his study period.

- That the student obtains knowledge, facts, and scientific concepts in the fields of computer and information technology appropriate for the stage of the study.

In order to increase productivity, students need to develop skills and abilities in the field of computers and their applications.

The value of the study returns to the student:

Providing the student with scientific knowledge in the field of computer and information technology related to his life and the needs of his community.

Introduce the student to the internal and external components of the computer, and its various peripherals.

The student will learn computer applications and data entry skills.

Introducing students to various applications of computers and information in public life.

Intended learning outcomes

Mental skills:

- Abilities necessary for systems analysis (such as general intelligence, the ability to analyze complex situations, the ability to understand the logical relationships between elements, etc.)

- Abilities necessary for programming, which are the same capabilities previously referred to, in addition to the ability to deal with details accurately.

Ability to visualize and mathematical ability (word meanings, reasoning, numerical ability, diagrams)

- Writing ability that ensures speed and accuracy in performance.

Practical and professional skills:

- Using tools in correct and accurate ways in drawing, design, and construction.

Implementation of various software.

Making distinct drawings and images of flat and stereoscopic shapes and models.

- Operation and use of some technological innovations via computers and the Internet.
