Overview

The aim of this course is to educate students on the economic importance of viruses to humans, science and to the ecosystem. The lectures will focus on various aspects of virus biology including: virus Characteristics, anatomy and physiology, life history, behavior, ecology and the taxonomy of all major viruses and the method of diagnosis, transition، and the method of control

Intended learning outcomes

Student will be able to:

· Understand and appreciate the importance of viruse to the human and the environment.

· Distinguish the viruses from the other pathogens

· Describe the morphology, anatomy and biology of the viruses.

· Acquire skills for collecting, mounting, and preserving viruses

Identify viruses and the method of thier diagnoses ,transmission ,and their control.
