Overview

This course focuses on the basic principles of the French language, as it contains oral and written communication in various everyday situations. Therefore, the subjects related to the basics are given priority in this course and the students will get practical tools, useful structures and vocabulary that they use more independently in order to understand the French language And to be understood by people who speak this language, emphasis is also placed on preparing the student to engage in the French language department. It is hoped that this new organization of educational materials and objectives will serve the real educational transformation, which is represented in reorienting foreign language learning towards more effective educational methods.

Intended learning outcomes

By the end of the 14th week, the student should be able to:
  • Understand and use basic expressions as well as very simple statements intended to meet concrete needs (introducing oneself or introducing someone).
  • Asking someone questions about them (where they live, relationships, what they are about, etc.) and answering the same type of questions.
  • Understand numbers, quantities and times.
  • Describe or introduce people, living conditions, daily activities, and their likes and dislikes in a short series of expressions or loose sentences.
  • Describe themselves and what they do as well as where they live.
  • Describe a story Recommend bit by bit with a simple list of points.
  • Describe aspects of their daily environment, such as people, places, work or school experience.
