Roles

Zahra Kashlut is one of the staff members at the Zoology Department Faculty of Science. She currently works at the University of Tripoli as an assistant professor in the Zoology department, Coordinator of studies and examinations in Zoology department, and coordinator of quality and performance evaluation in the Department of Zoology and also in the Department of Marine Science. Teaching several university courses and supervising graduation projects for bachelor’s degree students inside and outside the faculty.

Careers

  Zahra Kashlut was one of The first bachelor's degree graduates who started joining the Zoology department as a teaching assistant in 2004. She was promoted to assistant lecturer on 05-11-2009 and then changed her rank to lecturer in 2019. In 2023, she became an assistant professor in the same field of her specialization, marine sciences.

Research Interests

She has published anumber of scientific researches, in addition to a poster in the field of marine science and fish parasitology. She has also supervised the graduation projects of bachelor’s degree students inside and outside the Science faculty. She is an admin of the study and examinations page in the Zoology Department via Facebook. She is also a member of the Department’s Scientific Activity Committee.

External Activities

She participated in attending several conferences, seminars, workshops and local celebrations in several regions of Libya. She was also part of the committee preparing the second basic sciences conference at the Faculty of Science and contributed a paper to the second basic sciences conference at the University of Musrata.
