Careers
Asma Agnaia worked as a teaching assistant at the university in 2008 in the English Department. Her work focused on downloading materials for students and proctoring final exams. The decision came to send her to study abroad, so she completed her master’s studies and obtained it in 2010 from the University of Leeds in Britain. She began her work as a faculty member at the university in 2012 with the rank of assistant lecturer. She taught various subjects in the field of English, including linguistics and grammatical structures. She undertakes academic supervision of a group of students and prepares graduation cards for them.
Research Interests
Asma Agnaia’s research interests focus on teaching English. What are the problems facing teachers in basic education in teaching this language, for example using the mother tongue in the classroom in the English language subject? And also how to practice the language in general, whether in schools or universities, and also in daily life.
External Activities
Asma Agnaia was enrolled in general education at the secondary level after graduating from the university and obtaining a bachelor’s degree, specializing in English language. She taught the English language subject for the first year of high school in 2007.
