Roles

• Fathi Maatog is a faculty member of the Department of Islamic Studies, Faculty of Arts/University of Tripoli, I have been working since 3_2_2016 I teach many courses in my specialization and I have many research in my field.
• Several courses have been studied in the section, including: jurisprudence, research curricula, sharia purposes, interpretation of the Koran, transaction provisions, wills and inheritances, interpretation of verses of judgments, the Koran's inability.
• Discussed a master's thesis for a student entitled: ( Ibn Ashour's Weights in Interpretation from the al mulk Sura to the al nass Sura).

Careers

• I studied at the Open University until I received a bachelor's degree in the Department of Islamic Studies. I then pursued my postgraduate studies and obtained a master's degree. I applied for appointment as a faculty member. I was admitted to the University in 2010. I followed my studies until I received a bachelor's degree.

Research Interests

I have prepared and published three scientific papers in court journals:

1. Interpretation between the tradition of ancient and the renewal of modernists, the journal Echo of Knowledge _ Western Mountain.
2. The Quran and its machinery, scientific journal _ University of Misrata. 
3. Muslims and contemporary currents, Cartoon Magazine _ Zawiya University.The university issued a decision to be promoted to an assistant professor's degree.

External Activities

• Attended a scientific conference at the University of Malaya, Malaysia, and participated in research entitled "Koranic Science and Interpretation between Tradition and Renewal" in 2014. 
• Attended a scientific conference at Mr. Mohammed Ibn Ali Al-Senussi Islamic University _ Al-Bayda and participated in it with research entitled: (The approach of the bureaucrats in his book The Explanation of the Women) in 2021.

I evaluated three research upgrades of its titles:

1.  (Different meaning of interpretation between applicants and late applicants).
2.  (The efforts of Prof. Dr. Abdullah Al-Nocrat in interpreting the Qur 'an).
3.  (The provisions of the legislation from lighter to heavier and its purposes are included in the Koran).

Commissioned by the Ministry of Endowments to preach in several mosques since 2013, we stopped the period of coronavirus and then returned.

Commissioned by the Ministry of Awqaf to teach the Holy Quran and graduated a number of students of keepers of the Holy Quran, from about 35 years to date I'm still studying the Koran.
