The Andalusian influence on the Libyan Poets

Abstract
This study explores the employment of Andalusian heritage in the poetry of the Libyan poet Saeed Fandi. His works reflect a deep nostalgia for the lost Andalusia, incorporating Andalusian historical figures and their dialogues while mirroring their glory. Fandi also employed intertextuality by responding to Andalusian poets. His poetry is marked by sorrow and grief over this lost legacy. The study concludes that Fandi is among the most influenced Libyan poets by Andalusian heritage, offering historical reflections carrying lessons for the present and future.
