The Stance of Islamic Sharia on Terrorism

Abstract

The term “terrorism” has continuously occupied the minds and pens of those concerned with political and religious matters across both the Arab and Islamic worlds. Some individuals- agitators and enemies of Islam-have exploited various events،distorting and misinterpreting them،and from these flawed interpretations،they have constructed a misguided understanding. This has led to accusations and false claims aimed at Islamic Sharia،as part of a failed attempt to associate it with promoting, supporting, or encouraging terrorism.

Clarifying the position of Islamic Sharia on terrorism is a duty that falls upon every Muslim capable of speaking out, especially in light of the recent tragic events in wounded Gaza-may God grant it and its people healing and victory. During these events, the aggressive Jews violated the five essential protections (the “five necessities”) that Sharia seeks to uphold and preserve. Our brothers in Gaza have strived to defend these necessities using every means available, despite limited resources and the severe shortage of aid due to the international community’s widespread negligence in safeguarding the sanctities of Muslims in Palestine.
