The Libyan Journal of Agricultural Sciences is considered one of the most important publications of the College of Agriculture - University of Tripoli. It is a semi-annual scientific journal. It is supervised by a group of faculty members who form the editorial board of the journal. A decision is issued by the President of the University.

The journal accepts refereed scientific research that includes the results of original studies and research in the field of agricultural science and technology, as well as scientific interventions or criticism in response to new publications of books or scientific research published in one of the issues of the journal or other similar journals in the specialty.

In addition to the results of refereed research and scientific studies that are presented in scientific conferences and symposiums in their field of competence in accordance with the terms of publication in the journal in the event that a booklet of the proceedings of the conference or symposium is not issued.

Vision:

That the Libyan Journal of Agricultural Sciences enjoy the respect of researchers, and achieves a prominent position in scientific publications at the local, regional and international levels in the near future.

Mission:

Creating a platform for scientific communication between researchers in various agricultural fields, and allowing for the publication of sober scientific research with honesty and professionalism, and in a manner that does not conflict with the goals of the journal to maintain a decent and distinguished level.

Goals:

1. Working on publishing the journal in print and electronically, and making it accessible through the information network and striving towards globalization by making publishing available to researchers from all over the world.

2. Publication of sound scientific papers (scientific research) in the field of agricultural sciences and technologies and other related sciences.

3. Encouraging local researchers to actively participate in publishing original scientific research.

4. Finding a channel to communicate with researchers and specialists in the relevant scientific and research institutions around the world.

The Libyan Journal of Agricultural Sciences accepts publication:

1. Research papers that include the results of original studies and research in the field of agricultural sciences, technologies and other sciences. Innovative scientific research may also be accepted in the form of short notes.

2. Review article on modern and distinguished topics in the field of agricultural sciences.

3. Scientific interventions or criticism of research published in the Journal or other similar journals in the specialty or published books, as well as proposals for the development of scientific research in the various fields of agriculture.

4. Results of research and refereed scientific studies presented in scientific conferences and symposia in its field of competence in accordance with the terms of publication in the Journal. This is in the event that no book of the proceedings of the conference or symposium has been issued.

Articles submission of scientific research for publication in the journal:

Research papers are submitted according to the journal's filing form, in which the name and address of the main author are specified, the title of the scientific paper, the date of submission for publication, and the signature. - Intellectual property rights shall be reserved to the Libyan Journal of Agricultural Sciences, University of Tripoli.

- It is a requirement that the scientific material submitted for publication does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others, and the editorial board of the journal does not bear any legal or other responsibility arising from the publication of the scientific paper.
