Abstract

     The research aims to identify some of the obstacles to implementing sports activity from the point of view of physical education teachers. The descriptive approach was used due to its suitability and the nature of the research to reach its objectives and answer its questions. The research targeted physical education teachers in government schools in the municipality of Tajoura in the city of Tripoli for the academic year (2022-2023). With (100) teachers and (156) female teachers, numbering (265) according to statistics from the Tajoura Activity Office, the research sample was targeted at a rate of (42.96%), (110) male and female teachers out of the research population of (256) male and female education teachers. Physically, a questionnaire was used (Okasha and Al-Haddad, 2018), which was applied to male and female teachers in Sabratha and Sorman. The questionnaire was characterized by high validity for its axes (administrative and professional obstacles, material obstacles, academic and cultural obstacles, social and psychological obstacles). The most important results are that the obstacles The percentage facing the implementation of sports activity from the point of view of physical education teachers amounted to (69.82%), the estimated percentage of administrative and professional obstacles amounted to (72.66%), the estimated percentage of physical obstacles amounted to (57.19%), the estimated percentage of academic and cultural obstacles amounted to (76.56%), and the percentage The estimate for social and psychological obstacles was (69.87%), and there was a difference between male and female teachers in the sample in the teachers’ response to the obstacles they face in implementing sports activities.
