Abstract

Abstract :The purpose of this research is to identify the role of field training supervisors in directing the student teacher to participate in school sports activities. It is also aimed at determining the extent to which the teacher & apos ; s role in directing the student teacher to participate in school sports activities is different depending on the variables (sex, age, scientific qualification). To this end, the researcher prepared a definition of 33 paragraphs in five areas: planning of sports activity, management of sports activity, implementation and demonstration of activity, potential and incentives. The study sample consisted of 66 teachers and teachers of physical education within the municipality of Abuslem.  The results of the research showed that the role of field training supervisors in guiding the student teacher to participate in sports activities was largely in all fields of study.The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the differences in study variables (age, scientific qualification), while the results indicated statistically significant differences depending on the gender variable and in favour of females
