Abstract

The research aims to identify the percentages of teachers’ possession of mental skills and decision-making skills during the performance of their professional work and to identify the level of relationship between the dimensions of the mental skills scale and the dimensions of teachers’ decision-making skills and the extent to which the dimensions of the mental skills scale contribute to the dimensions of the decision- The researchers conducted the exploratory study on the scientific standards for research standards, and the results resulted in determining the percentages of physical education teachers’ possession of mental skills and decision-making skills. The researchers also concluded that there is a relationship There is a significant positive correlation between all dimensions of mental skills and the dimensions of teachers’ decision-making skills. The researcher also concluded that mental skills (dealing with stress, focus, practice, controlling fear, planning, setting goals, refocusing, self-confidence, relaxation, visualization) They are the most influential mental skills in decision-making among physical education teachers. The researchers also found (7) predictive equations that can be relied upon to predict decision-making skills, given the knowledge of some mental skills among physical education teachers in Tripoli.
