Rana Hussein Jabbou is a faculty member in the Department of English at the Faculty of Arts. Mrs. Rana Hussein Jabbou has been working at the University of Tripoli as an assistant lecturer since 25/12/2021 and has many scientific publications in her field of specialization. 

Careers

Rana Jaboua studied at the Faculty of Arts ; University of Tripoli, specializing in English language, and because she was ranked first in her class, she got a scholarship to study for a master’s degree abroad.

She worked in public education and taught English at Janzour Secondary School.

She studied a master's degree at the University of Salford (Manchester/UK) in TESOL​&​and applied linguistics.

She taught English in several international schools, including the Canadian Academy of Libya and Cambridge.

She also worked as a Associate tutor at the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences, where she taught (General English) for several groups from different departments for three years.Currently she holds the position of Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Arts ; University of Tripoli. She attended many scientific conferences and workshops concerned with the field of language learning and teaching and linguistics.In addition, she has obtained many language certificates from many accredited international institutes such as the British  council / Rabat - Morocco, AMIDEAST / Rabat, Morocco, Kaplan/Manchester - Britain.

Research Interests

Modern teaching methods.

The use of social media in English teaching and leaning.
