Roles

I was assigned many tasks at the university, including administering exams as a member of the exams committee and monitoring exam conduct.

I was a lecturer in the English department at Tripoli University from 2008 till 2010. In addition, I have experience teaching general English in several departments within the Faculty of Arts as well as other faculties, including the Colleges of Medicine and Agriculture.

Careers

After joining the Faculty of Arts as a staff member, I worked in the English Department, and from late 2010 to early 2013, I taught phonetics, phonology, and grammatical structures.

Research Interests

Because I am very interested in phonetics and phonology, I specialised in this field during my Ph.D. studies and attended numerous international conferences and workshops regarding this field.

External Activities

As a volunteer, I helped my colleagues translate a few research papers from English to Arabic when I was pursuing my doctorate in Malaysia.
