Roles

He was a teaching assistant in the Department of Archaeology in 1979. He obtained the rank of Professor in 2000. He taught Greek & Latin Languages at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and supervised several master's and doctoral theses. He is professor of classical studies in university of Tripoli from 2014.

Careers

He taught Greek and Latin languages , Greek and Roman history ,Ancient civilization. He worked as ahead of Department, Dean of Faculty of Arts (university of Benghazi), president University of Elmergib.

Research Interests

He is interested in Classical philology, Greek & Latin , and translated a series of Ancient sources from ancient Greek and Latin into Arabic published by Garyounis university (Benghazi), the Ministry of Education, Ministry of culture.

External Activities

He is member in several advisory committees at: university of Tripoli, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Higher Education. He participated in several local and international conferences in Europe and the Arab countries.
