Dr. Rafia Ahmed Abdel Rahman is one of the faculty members in the Department of Sociology at the College of Arts, Tripoli. Mrs. Rafia Ahmed works at the University of Tripoli as a lecturer and has many scientific publications in her field of specialization. She also supervises a number of graduation projects for students in the Sociology Department.

She obtained her master's degree in 2011 from the University of Tripoli, and works as a permanent faculty member in the Department of Sociology

She served as coordinator of the Office of Faculty Affairs at the Faculty of Arts, University of Tripoli, Al-Sawani Branch

The role of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Agency as a social organization in confronting the drug problem in Libyan society, the city of Benghazi as an example
