As part of its scientific activities for the current academic semester, the Physics Department at the Faculty of Science organized a distinguished scientific lecture entitled “The Fourth Industrial Revolution and the Challenges of the Future”, delivered by Prof. Dr. Al-Madani Abu Al-Qasim Dakhil on Monday, June 8, 2026, at the Plasma Building.

The event was attended by the Head of the Physics Department, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Al-Kalash, several heads of academic departments within the Faculty, the Director of the Graduate Studies Office, Prof. Dr. Khaled Al-Marghani, in addition to faculty members, postgraduate students, technicians, and a number of interested participants from both inside and outside the University.

The lecture attracted a diverse audience representing various scientific and academic disciplines, bringing together different generations of scholars and researchers. During his presentation, Prof. Dr. Al-Madani provided an insightful overview of the historical development of scientific and technological innovations that have contributed to human progress, culminating in the emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its growing impact on modern society.
