Duties of Yousef Algowizy at the University of TripoliYousef Algowizy has been a faculty member in the Department of Agricultural Economics at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tripoli, since 1999. As a distinguished lecturer, he undertakes various academic and research tasks aimed at advancing knowledge in the field of agricultural economics.One of the most prominent duties of Yousef Algowizy is preparing and teaching courses related to agricultural economics, which helps equip students with the necessary knowledge to understand and apply economic concepts in agriculture. Additionally, he supervises graduation projects for undergraduate and postgraduate students, providing academic guidance and support to develop scientific research in this vital field.Yousef also participates in research activities related to sustainable agriculture development and rural economics. He has numerous scientific publications that contribute to disseminating knowledge and offering solutions to agricultural problems in Libya. Furthermore, Yousef Algowizy actively contributes to the Graduate Studies Development and Teaching Program in the department, where he supervises and serves as a member in the discussion of master’s theses, enhancing the quality of education and academic research within the department.With his colleagues  also organizes workshops and scientific seminars to promote the exchange of experiences between students, faculty members, and specialists, which enhances the university’s position in the academic and research fields.

Careers

Yousef Algowizy began his academic career as a Lecturer, then advanced to Senior Lecturer, and later to Assistant Professor. He has taught various courses to undergraduate and graduate students, in addition to supervising graduation projects for students at both undergraduate and graduate levels. He collaborates with his colleagues to enhance the educational process and contribute to scientific research through participation in numerous seminars, conferences, and workshops, as well as publishing scientific research. He has also been involved in several scientific committee memberships within his department and faculty.

Research Interests

Yousef Algowizy  is interested in the field of economics, rural development, methods and methodologies of scientific research and the study of rural societies.

External Activities

Supervising postgraduate students at the The Libyan Academy and also an external examiner for postgraduate students at The Libyan Academy and some other universities. Contributing to the evaluation of several scientific researches in several scientific journals.
