Abdulhamid Yousef is one of the staff members at the department of 11 faculty of 3. He is working as a since 2015-11-01. He teaches several subjects in his major and has several publications in the field of his interest.

Researcher and academic supervisor for the bachelor's and master's stages in the field of agricultural economics, with a focus on research studies in the fields of marketing and foreign trade of agricultural commodities and proposing economic policies in the agricultural sector, in addition to teaching foreign trade courses, project evaluation and agricultural development for the bachelor's and master's stages and working to link research and studies to the requirements of the local market and the reality of the agricultural sector.

Careers

Since my appointment as a teaching assistant at the university, Department of Agricultural Economics, Faculty of Agriculture, I have been working for more than 39 years, from assistant lecturer to lecturer to assistant professor and associate professor until I obtained the degree of professor. I have been working as a faculty member and researcher in the field of agricultural economics and conducting studies and research related to agricultural economic aspects in the fields of marketing, agricultural development and foreign trade of agricultural commodities.

Research Interests

Professor Abdul Hamid has many research papers, studies and scientific participations in a number of local and international conferences related to the economics of agricultural resources, economic, marketing and pricing policies and in the field of foreign trade of agricultural commodities. Professor Abdul Hamid focuses as an economic expert on participating in developing development plans and strategies in cooperation with research centers at the national level that aim to develop and advance the agricultural sector in Libya and increase its relative importance in the national economy.

External Activities

Over the past years and until now, Professor Abdul Hamid has been supervising refereed scientific journals affiliated with the Libyan Scientific Research Authority as Editor-in-Chief of the Al-Namaa Journal of Science and Technology at Al-Zaytouna University and Editor-in-Chief of the Libyan Journal of Agricultural Economics, which publishes research papers in the field of agricultural sciences and encourages solid scientific research that contributes to raising the research level.
