Roles
Saham Mohammed is a faculty member in the Crops Department at the Faculty of Agriculture. Dr. Saham has been working in her field since 2007. She supervises a number of graduate (Master's) students and undergraduate students. She was a teaching assistant in the Crops Department at the Faculty of Agriculture from 2004 to 2008, an assistant lecturer from 2008, a lecturer from 2016, an assistant professor at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tripoli, from 2020, and an associate professor from 2025. She is a member of the laboratory supervision committee in the Crops Department, a member of the supervision committee for special studies in the Crops Department, and the coordinator of the committee for developing the educational process in the Crops Department at the Faculty of Agriculture.
Careers
I graduated from the Department of Agricultural Crops with a very good grade in 2003. I was appointed as a teaching assistant in the department in 2004 and obtained a master’s degree in 2007 from the University of Tripoli. After that, I obtained a doctorate in 2015 from Alexandria University, Faculty of Agriculture (Saba Pasha).
Research Interests
A researcher in the field of agricultural crops, specializing in seed testing, conducting research on grain crops, scientific research in the field of crop production and improvement, contributing to solving environmental and agricultural production problems, as well as focusing on field crop production programs and their genetic improvement, and also studying environmental and physiological factors related to plant production.
External Activities
Working on the Seed Sample Evaluation Committee, as a member of the Department’s Studies Supervision Committee, as a coordinator in the Department’s Educational Process Development Committee, as well as a coordinator of the Department’s Summer Training Programs, as well as working as a coordinator for the College’s Preparatory Stage, as a member of the College-level Study and Examination Committee, as a member of the Quality Committee, and working to assist researchers at the research station in determining seed and fertilization rates.
