Roles
During my work in the department as an assistant lecturer, I carried out many academic and research tasks, including assignments from the department as a study and examination coordinator, special studies coordinator, department meeting rapporteur, department-level research station committee coordinator, laboratories and labs committee coordinator, and a member of the department's graduates committee. Other assignments from the college, such as my assignment to the college's graduates' files review committee, a member of the research station committee (department delegate) in the committee, and a member of the technical and formal specifications review committee for master's theses.
I supervised research on a number of undergraduate students and was also assigned to supervise students' files academically from 2011 to the present.
Careers
I was selected as a teaching assistant in the department in 2002 and started my work in this capacity in September 2004. After that, I obtained the highest answer (master's) in textiles and clothing in November 2010 from Heriot-Watt University in Scotland and started my work as an assistant lecturer in February 2011.
I was promoted to the rank of lecturer in March 2021 to present
Research Interests
As a faculty member in the field of textiles and their applications, I am interested in everything related to textile techniques and manufacturing of various types, whether dyeing and printing textiles and clothing, weaving and spinning textiles, or the physical and chemical properties of textiles. In this context, I published a paper on the different physical properties of natural and chemical alizarin dye as a comparative study. I supervised several researches concerned with textile manufacturing and the properties of modified and synthetic fibers. I am currently working on papers related to the same field.
External Activities
I evaluated a scientific output in the University Echo magazine of the Open University.
