Dr. Al-Arabi Muhammad Al-Toumi is a faculty member in the Rangelands and Forestry Department at the Faculty of Agriculture, Tripoli. He worked as a teaching assistant in the Western Mountains region since 1991, teaching the practical component at the Nicola Nicola Institute. After obtaining his Master's degree in Rangelands in 1998, he was promoted to Grade 9 on September 2, 1999.

He was transferred to the Tripoli Laboratories Department by the (former) General Education and Vocational Training Committee in connection with the merger of the Rainfed Agriculture College in Zintan into the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tripoli, on December 1999.

A scientific employment agreement was signed with the lecturer after he received his doctorate on July 1, 2008.

Careers

1. He was assigned to work at the Forestry and Rangeland Legal Institute in Al-Hashan on October 31, 1981.

2. He was appointed to the position of Forestry Technician at the starting salary of Grade 5, effective from the date he began work at the Institute on November 10, 1981.

3. He was reappointed to the position of Instructor at the starting salary of Grade 8 at the Forestry and Rangeland Institute in Al-Hashan, effective from the date he obtained his qualification, September 1, 1986.

4. He was transferred to the Higher Institute of Veterinary and Rainfed Agricultural Sciences in Zintan, retaining his previous grade and seniority, effective September 27, 1990.

5. He was appointed as a teaching assistant at the University of Jabal al-Gharbi, Department of Rainfed Agriculture, based on the authorization of the Secretary of the People's Committee for Higher Education (formerly) No. (448) of 1991, effective from the date of signing the contract, October 1, 1991.

6. He was appointed as a faculty member at the University of Jabal al-Gharbi, College of Veterinary Medicine and Rural Rainfed Agriculture, at the rank of Assistant Lecturer, effective from his commencement date, September 2, 1998.

7. He obtained the ninth grade on September 2, 1999.

8. He was transferred to work at the University of Tripoli based on the decision of the Secretary of the General People's Committee for Education and Vocational Training (formerly) regarding the merger of the College of Rainfed Agriculture in Zintan with the College of Agriculture at the University of Tripoli, effective from his commencement date, December 1, 1999.

9. His academic status was adjusted to the rank of Lecturer after obtaining his doctorate on July 1, 2008.
