Roles

Abdul Raouf Al-Wasif is one of the faculty members in the Department of Rangeland and Forestry at the College of Agriculture. He has been working as a lecturer and researcher in the department since 6/1/2023. Through his work in the department and college, Mr. Abdul Raouf Al-Wasif supervises graduation projects. He also works on some committees at the university level, including as a representative of the College of Agriculture in the university site committee.

Careers

Before his appointment as a faculty member, he held the position of a research assistant. After obtaining a master’s degree, he was appointed as a faculty member on 5/22/2019 as an assistant lecturer.

Research Interests

One of the most important research areas that Professor Al-Wasif works in is the development and treatment of forest trees. He also previously worked on several research in the field of pastures and forests. Professor Al-Wasif has published many research papers in prestigious international journals, the most recent of which was the publication of a research paper on summer plants in the Nafusa Mountain region.
