Roles

Since my transfer from the Ministry of Environment, Nature Conservation and Biodiversity Department, where I was an active member in nature conservation, biodiversity, and endangered species protection programs, to the University of Tripoli, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Rangelands and Forests, as an assistant lecturer, specifically in the Rangelands Division. I began teaching Rangeland Basics, Forest Management, and Plant Taxonomy. I also temporarily held the positions of Head of Department and Quality Committee Coordinator.

Careers

Since my transfer from the Ministry of Environment to the University of Tripoli in 2023 with the rank of Assistant Lecturer, I will continue to hold this rank until I move to the rank of Lecturer in 2027.

Research Interests

Most of my research interests focus on rangeland ecology, its relationship to climate change, and the extent to which vegetation contributes to mitigating the effects of the greenhouse effect. I am also interested in studying secondary metabolites found in natural plants and their relationship to the surrounding plant environment, including various species intertwined with the life cycles of plants of interest.
