Roles

During my work in the department as an associate professor since 2002, I performed many academic and research tasks. I held the position of coordinator of studies and examinations in the department (2003-2006), head of the plant protection department (2013-2015), rapporteur of department meetings (2016-present), and coordinator of the training program. Summer in the department (2017-2018), Chairman of the Department’s Graduate Studies Committee (2017- present), Rapporteur of the College’s Graduate Study Committee (2018- 2022), Chairman of the College’s Equivalency Committee (2021-2022), Head of the College’s Research and Consulting Office (2023- until Now) I was assigned to supervise research on a number of bachelor’s and master’s students. I was also assigned to academically supervise the files of university studies students.

Careers

I started my work in the department as an assistant lecturer in 2002, then I was promoted to lecturer in 2006. I was nominated to conduct PhD, then promoted to assistant professor (2017) and associate professor (2021).

Research Interests

Diagnosis of nematode and fungal diseases, Taxonomy  of  Plant parasitic nematodes, Biological control of nematodes, Isolation and identification of fungi associated with plant-pathogenic nematodes

External Activities

Head of the research team for the program (Isolation and identification of fungal genera associated with plant pathogenic nematodes) within the cooperation between the University of Tripoli and the Biotechnology Research Center.
