After obtaining a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tripoli in the field of plant protection, I worked as a chemistry teacher at the high school for three years, after which in 2000 I was appointed as a teaching assistant in the Department of Plant Protection - Agriculture faculty - University of Tripoli.  During that period, I worked in many administrative and scientific positions in the department and helped give the practical part of several courses including pesticides, pesticide toxicity, general entomology, and pest control.  During the same period, I joined graduate studies at the faculty and obtained master’s degree in the field of pesticides. In 2003, I was appointed as a faculty member with the rank of assistant lecturer in the Department of Plant protection - Agriculture faculty - University of Tripoli, where I taught some courses such as pesticides, pesticide toxicity, and the basics of plant protection.  , general entomology, pest control.  In 2019, I joined my doctoral studies at Alexandria University - Egypt in 2019 and obtained my degree in 2023. I was reappointed as a faculty member with the rank of lecturer in the Department of Plant Protection - Agriculture faculty - University of Tripoli, teaching courses on pesticides, pesticide toxicity, insect control, and general entomology. I was also a member and coordinator of some administrative and scientific committees in the department and college. 

Careers

I was appointed as a teaching assistant at the University of Tripoli, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Plant Protection, in the year 9/2/1999.  During which I began to carry out many scientific and administrative tasks and began studying for a master’s degree, which I obtained on March 21, 2003, and was appointed as a faculty member in the Prevention Department on December 10, 2003.  Where she taught many courses, including pesticides.  Pesticide toxicity, basics of plant protection, general entomology, and insect control.  In the year 2019, I joined my doctoral studies, which I obtained on May 31, 2023. I was reappointed to the department with the rank of lecturer in the same year and worked by teaching the following courses: pesticides, pesticide toxicity, pest control, general entomology, and insect physiology.  I also performed many tasks, such as membership and chairmanship of some committees in the department and faculty

External Activities

I worked as a member of a committee affiliated with the Ministry of Planning preparing a new Libyan standard specification for food pollutants and pesticide residues.
