- Dr.Azalarib Ali has more than 20 years of experience in the field of soil and water. He has interests in climate change ,desertification, applications of geographic information systems and remote sensing applications in the field of soil and water.
External Activities
Dr. Azalarib Ali has contributed to many missions outside the university:
- Member of a follow-up committee for research conducted by Zandar Co., Ltd. in favor of the National Committee for Desertification and Combating Desert Encroachment - Ministry of Agriculture, Libya (2007).
- Member of the southern region team - water-harvesting project Ministry of Agriculture in cooperation with the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) 2008-2009.
- Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of AlJebel AlGarbe (2011-2014).
- Consultant at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Marine Resources (2013).
- Training the southern and eastern Libyan field team regions on how to collect field data for the FAO projects (MerWat & LegWat), implemented by the FAO and the Ministry of Water Resources, (2022-2023).
