Abdulsalam Abu Zweik is a faculty member in the Department of Afro-Asian Languages. Careers

Mr. Abdul Salam Abu Zuwaik’s career and professional start at the University of Tripoli was after he was appointed as a teaching assistant in the Department of African Languages ​​in 2009. He was then appointed again as a faculty member with the rank of assistant lecturer in 2016 after obtaining a master’s degree in African Studies “Linguistic Studies” from Cairo University in the same year. Then he was assigned the task of coordinating studies and examinations in the Department of African Languages, in addition to teaching some subjects in his field of specialization. Then he was temporarily assigned to head the Department of African Languages ​​by the Dean of the College of Languages ​​in the year 2018 until the university president’s decision was issued in the same year to assign him to head the Department of Afro-Asian Languages ​​after returning Renamed from the Department of African Languages ​​to Afro-Asiatic LanguagesTo include other divisions in addition to African languages, and after the end of his term as head of the Afro-Asian Languages ​​Department, he was assigned the task of coordinator of studies and examinations in the General Subjects Department of the college. He was also elected earlier as a media officer in the Faculty Syndicate at the Faculty of Languages, University of Tripoli, and head of the Study and Examinations Department at the Faculty of Languages.

He was also assigned some academic tasks, including: “Member of the Scientific Committee of the Department of Afro-Asian Languages, and Member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of the Faculty of Languages, University of Tripoli.”

Research Interests

Mr. Abdel Salam Abu Zuwaik’s geological interests focus on employing the use of mother languages ​​in enhancing cultural communication between peoples, and also employing them in addressing some contemporary issues on the African continent, such as: the phenomenon of illegal immigration and combating terrorism. He is also interested in studying the cultural and political history of the African continent and its connection to some problems. Contemporary.

External Activities

The working conditions at the university did not allow Mr. Abdel Salam Abu Zawik to work outside it, especially since he was at the beginning of the academic ladder, which required him to teach 24 hours a week in addition to some of the administrative and academic jobs mentioned above.
