Mohamed Al-Fitouri is a faculty member in the Department of Arabic Language at the Faculty of Languages. Mr. Mohamed Al-Fitouri has been working at the University of Tripoli as a professor since January 1991-01 and has many scientific publications in his field of specialization, linguistics. He has participated in many scientific conferences inside and outside Libya, such as Egypt, the Emirates,

Indonesia, Malaysia, and others. He has held many scientific and administrative positions, including coordinator of the Arabic Language Teaching Division for Non-Native Speakers, chairing examination committees, and working as coordinator of the General Arabic Language course at the university level in the Faculties of Science, Engineering, Agriculture, Law, Arts, and others, and working as head of the Arabic Language Department at the Faculties of Arts and Languages, and working as a member of the Language Planning Committee at the Libyan Academy of Arabic Language in Trip

Careers

Teaching Assistant between 1991 and 1995

Professor since 1995, Head of the Department of Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers between 1995 and 1997, and Coordinator of General Arabic Language at the Faculties of Science, Engineering and Agriculture.

1998 I spent my studies in Spain until 2007, where I obtained a PhD in Computational Linguistics.

2008 Head of the Arabic Language Department at the Faculty of Languages.

2009 and 2010 Head of the Arabic Language Department at the Faculty of Languages.
