Roles

Shaaban Daw Amara Al-Harizi was born in the city of Surman on the first of 1966. He joined the teaching staff of the Department of Arabic Language at the Faculty of Languages ​​at the University of Tripoli as a professor. I teach all linguistic courses at the undergraduate level, including morphology, syntax, linguistic exercises, and modern linguistics. I also teach higher linguistic degree courses, including the principles of grammar, grammatical schools, grammatical heritage texts, morphological heritage texts, sources and references, scientific research methodology, issues of learning the Arabic language, and others. I also teach at the precise academic degree level, the Department of Linguistics, including: grammatical issues, linguistic studies, dictionaries, and others. I also participate in academic research to grant the degree of "Master" as well as the degree of "Doctorate" as a supervisor and discussion in Libyan universities, including: the University of Tripoli, the University of Zawiya, the University of Sabha, the University of Gharyan, the University of Zintan, and the Libyan Academy for Graduate Studies, and others.

• Head of the Arabic Language Department in Beveren, Western Mountain University, from March 1998 to December 2000.
• Director of the Office of Postgraduate Studies and Training, Faculty of Language, University of Tripoli, from February 2012 to October 2014.
• Deputy for Academic Affairs, Faculty of Languages, University of Tripoli, from the beginning of the academic year 2014/2015 to December 2017.
• Holder of the higher academic degree "Master" from the University of Zawiya on 15/8/1996.
• Holder of the precise scientific degree "PhD" from the University of Khartoum on 12/11/2007.

External Activities

• Member of the Arabic Language Curricula Committee at all levels of general education, primary, preparatory and secondary - at the Curriculum Center at the Ministry of General Education.

• I participated many times as a member of the evaluation teams of the extent of the potential of some Libyan universities and their readiness to open postgraduate studies in some of their colleges at the master's and doctoral levels. Affiliated with the Quality Center at the Ministry of Education.

• Head of the Arabic Language Department at the Language School at the Libyan Academy for Postgraduate Studies from the beginning of 2020 to October 2022. Note that I have been cooperating with the Arabic Language Department at the Language School at the Libyan Academy for Postgraduate Studies in teaching, supervision and discussion from 2009 to the present day.
