Dr. Saleh Al-Fakhri, a faculty member in the Department of Arabic Language, has been working as a professor since 2002.Bachelor's degree in Arts and Education from the Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies - Faculty of Education - University of Sabha in 1984 with a very good overall grade.Postgraduate Diploma in Linguistic Studies from the Faculty of Education / University of Tripoli (formerly Al-Fateh) in 1985 with a very good overall grade.Master's degree in Linguistic Studies from the Faculty of Education - University of Tripoli (formerly Al-Fateh) in 1987 with an excellent overall grade for a research entitled Phonetic Semantics in the Arabic Language.PhD in Linguistics from the Faculty of Languages, University of Tripoli (formerly Al-Fateh) in 1993 with an excellent overall grade for a research entitled Theory of Semantic Fields and Its Applications in the Arabic Language.

Research Interests

1- The first international conference: Phonetics and the Arabic language on November 12-13-14, 2007, at Badji Mokhtar University - Annaba, Algeria. I participated in it with a research entitled: (Sound articulations and their characteristics between the ancients and the moderns).2- The symposium on formulating and unifying the scientific term - at the Libyan Arabic Language Academy - Tripoli in October. I was the head of its preparatory committee, and I participated in it with a research entitled Formulating the scientific term between the strangeness of the word and the ambiguity of the meaning.3- The first international conference of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Al al-Bayt University - Jordan in linguistics: Phonetics and its applications to the Arabic language on November 6-7-8, 2008. I participated in it with a research entitled: Phonemic and morphemic functions and phonetic changes in the structure of the Arabic word.4- The Third International Conference on Linguistics 21-22 October 2009 - Organized by the Linguistics and Related Cognitive Systems Research Unit - Faculty of Arts and Humanities - University of Sfax - Tunisia, I participated in it with a research on morphological units and their semantic values ​​in Arabic. 5- The Second International Conference of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Al al-Bayt University - Jordan on Linguistics on 1-2-3 November 2010, I participated in it with a research entitled - Dictionaries of meanings and field classification of words - dedicated to Ibn Sayyida as a model.
