Walaa Salem Al-Dabaa is an assistant lecturer at the University of Tripoli in the Department of English language

. In 2013, she earned a Bachelor's degree in English language and literature, top of the class.

2014-2019 she worked as a Teaching Assistant.

In 2019 she received a master's degree in literary studies and linguistics from the University of Tripoli after writing a thesis on psychoanalysis of a Shakespearian play.

In 2020- present She attended as an assistant lecturer where she lectured a range of literary and linguistic study materials, including: Academic Writing، Introduction to literature، Short story، Reading Comprehension، Semantics, English language for Sociology and Tourism departments.

In 2023 she is assigned as the Quality focal of English department

Careers

In 2023  she is assigned as the Quality Focal of English Department.

2020- present, an assistant lecturer in the English language Department.

2014-2019, a Teaching Assistant at the English language Department.

Research Interests

Her research interests are broad, but they are mostly based on literary criticism in general, psychoanalysis and forensic linguistics in particular.

A thesis on psychoanalysis has been submitted and a new research is being published.

External Activities

she gave two courses on Business English.

She also worked as a content writer in some medical companies.

Earned a TESOL degree from Arizona State University, through which some English language courses were given.
