Roles

As an assistant lecturer at the University of Tripoli, my responsibilities varied, including teaching various academic subjects and enhancing students' linguistic and literary skills. Among the subjects I taught were listening and speaking courses aimed at improving students' abilities to communicate effectively in real-life situations and enhance their understanding of English as a means of expression and interaction. My tasks also included teaching grammatical structures, where I focused on developing students' knowledge of the fundamental rules of the English language, enabling them to construct correct and expressive sentences.

Furthermore, I have taught an introduction to English literature. This subject seeks to acquaint students with various literary genres and the analysis of literary texts, thereby deepening their appreciation of literature and developing their analytical and critical skills. These subjects and other courses I covered contributed to broadening students' horizons and building a solid knowledge base in the English language and literature. I am currently expanding my expertise in translation between Arabic and English through a doctoral program in linguistics and translation.

Careers

Before joining the teaching staff at the University of Tripoli, I had a diverse and rich career path in English language teaching, where I worked in teaching English courses at prestigious specialized centers. This period was filled with valuable experiences that contributed to honing my teaching skills and understanding the needs of learners from various backgrounds and levels. I was responsible for designing and implementing educational programs that met the students' needs and enhanced their linguistic abilities in effective and innovative ways.

Additionally, I had the honor of teaching at several well-known international schools in the country, where I made significant contributions to developing English language programs and enhancing students' linguistic proficiency. In this context, I worked on applying the latest teaching methods and using educational technology to improve the quality of education and make the learning process more interactive and enjoyable.

These varied experiences in teaching English at specialized centers and international schools helped me develop a deep understanding of the field of language education and qualified me to contribute effectively to the academic life at the University of Tripoli. These experiences were the foundation upon which I built my academic career, enabling me to offer valuable and innovative insights into teaching English language and literature.

Research Interests

In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I have published five research papers in English language and technology, reflecting my commitment to scientific research and contributing to the development of knowledge in this area. These studies addressed various topics linking language and technology, indicating my interest in modern trends in language teaching and the use of technology as an effective tool in this field. Through these efforts, I aim to improve teaching methods and enhance students' learning experience at the University of Tripoli.

External Activities

Over the past five years, I have actively reviewed research articles for several local scientific journals specializing in English language and translation, albeit in a modest capacity. In the future, I plan to play a more significant role in reviewing articles and scientific research.
