Roles

Soha is one of the faculty members in the Department of English Language at University of Tripoli. Soha Al-Raddad has been teaching at the University as an assistant lecturer  since 2022.

Soha obtained a bachelor’s degree in English language and translation from Egypt.

She obtained a Master’s degree in Linguistics in 2019 after writing a thesis  which dealt with comparing the translation of coulture bound terms using strategies of semantics.

Soha taught a group of subjects including: Grammatical Structure1, Grammatical Structure2, Military, Translation GrammaticalStructure3, GrammaticalStructure4, General English, Conversation 1, Conversation 2, and Oil Translation.

Careers

Soha's primary role now is as an assistant lecturer and  a faculty member.

Research Interests

Soha is interested in teaching English language and  the methods of teaching it to non-native speakers.

She is also  interested in translation, using modern technologies in translation , applied linguistics.

External Activities

Soha obtained a TEFL certificate (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) through which she taught some courses.
