was appointed as a Demonstrator in the Department ofEnglish Language, Faculty of Languages, in 2000, marking the beginning of my academic teaching career. Between 2000 and 2003, I served as a visiting instructor across several faculties at the University of Tripoli, gaining broad experience in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) instruction tailored to diverse disciplinary contexts. In the Faculty of Medicine, I taught a specialized coursebook entitled English for Medicine, designed specifically for students at the preparatory stage of their medical studies. This course focused on developing students' command of medical terminology, scientific reading comprehension, and the specialized register required for engagement with medical literature.

In the Faculty of Engineering, my responsibilities extended to teaching both English 1 and English 2, foundational courses aimed at building students' general academic English proficiency, alongside a specialized coursebook entitled English for Engineering, which addressed the technical vocabulary and communicative demands specific to engineering disciplines. A parallel teaching structure was implemented in the School of Agriculture, where I delivered instruction using a coursebook entitled English for Agriculture, similarly designed to equip students with the discipline-specific language skills necessary for their field of study. In the School of Law, my teaching responsibilities encompassed both general English language instruction and specialized legal terminology, preparing students to engage confidently with legal texts, documentation, and professional discourse in English.

This early period of my career afforded me valuable insight into the principles and practice of English for Specific Purposes, as I adapted my teaching methodology to accommodate the distinct linguistic needs of students across medical, engineering, agricultural, and legal disciplines. In 2003, in recognition of my accumulated teaching experience, I was appointed as a full-time staff member within the Department of English Language, Faculty of Languages. Since that appointment, I have continued to teach across various departments, contributing to the development of students' linguistic competence through a range of English language courses. Within the Department of English Language specifically, I have taught a variety of courses addressing different aspects of language acquisition, including grammar, composition, and communicative skills, reflecting my ongoing commitment to comprehensive and effective .English language pedagogy
