I was employed as an assistant lecturer at the University of Tripoli, Faculty of Arts, English Department, in April 2023. I taught specialized subjects including: Phonics 1, Phonics 2, Phonics 3, Phonics 4, Comprehension 1 and Comprehension 2. I assumed tasks as an academic supervisor and was part of the examination appeals committee.

Careers

I was employed as an assistant lecturer at the University of Tripoli, Faculty of Arts, English Department, in April 2023.

Research Interests

My master’s thesis specialty was in applied linguistics, and it was about correcting linguistic errors of university students in the English language departments. I distributed a questionnaire to the students and conducted interviews with faculty members. The study was conducted in three branches of the University of Tripoli: the College of Languages, the College of Arts, and the College of Education. The result showed that most faculty members do not correct students’ linguistic errors. The study recommended focusing on students’ linguistic errors to improve their academic level, taking into account the psychological aspect of the student.

Therefore, I would like to research this field, because it seeks to improve the quality of education at all its basic and university levels. Therefore, in the coming period, I would like to conduct research papers in this field.

External Activities

Being a staff member at the university of Tripoli. I worked as a faculty member at a private university.I had activities at the university, including evaluating the projects of graduation students in the English Department. I was also part of the committee evaluating students’ graduation projects.
