Since her appointment, Mrs. Doughri has assumed a wide range of academic and administrative responsibilities at the Faculty of Languages (formerly), encompassing the following:Study and Examinations Unit: Actively participated in the Examination Committee overseeing midterm and final exams, invigilating examination halls, and reporting cases of academic misconduct or exam irregularities.Data Digitization & Student Records: Managed the transition of academic records from manual transcripts to electronic databases to ensure data accuracy and rapid retrieval. Additionally, she was tasked with identifying students who deviated from the department's prescribed course study plans to ensure appropriate administrative action was taken.Graduation Unit: Overseen the processing, verification, and issuance of transcripts, degree certificates, and graduation documentation in accordance with faculty protocols. Furthermore, she handled the issuance of student progression transcripts for undergraduate students, preparing detailed academic status reports when required.University Teaching: she was previously assigned to teach General English courses to students in the Spanish Department for one semester; she subsequently advanced to a faculty member position (Assistant Lecturer) to commence teaching undergraduate courses in the Department of English.

Careers

Prior to joining the Faculty of Languages at the University of Tripoli as a Teaching Assistant, Ms. Adila Doughri served as Executive Office Manager to the Managing Director at Oea International Medical Services. Her responsibilities included designing a comprehensive, high-precision Excel workflow management system, establishing and supervising the central archiving department, and developing an inventory and order-tracking system for medical equipment and supplies. Additionally, she worked for a full year in medical reporting, drafting and translating medical records into Arabic as needed.

December 2012: Appointed as a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Languages (formerly). 

2012 – 2026: Assigned to academic and administrative duties across the Study and Examinations Unit, the E-Results Unit, and the Graduation Unit.r

September 2026: Pomoted to Faculty Member (Assistant Lecturer), to instruct undergraduate students in the Department of English.

Research Interests

Teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL), Second Language (L2) Writing Strategies, Foreign Language Writing Anxiety, Educational Technology & Artificial Intelligence in Education, and Curriculum Development.

External Activities

Mrs. Doughri Delivered intensive general English courses across various proficiency levels.

She has Completed certified nursing and first aid training, enabling active participation in providing first aid and volunteering for five months in private hospitals to assist patients.
