Roles

I work as a lecturer at the English department. I graduated from the same department and received a scholarship to study abroad. I obtained my master's degree from University of Warwick, and carried on a research programme. I received my PhD degree from University of Exeter in 2023.

Careers

I was previously appointed as a lecturer assistant at the English department (University of Tripoli). I was charged with some office work at the department, and taught general English at other departments in the college.

Research Interests

I am interested in applied linguistics, more specifically in developing teaching methods and curriculum that suit local learners. Furthermore, my research interests include understanding and addressing beliefs and attitudes of English teachers.

External Activities

I attended several workshops and seminars during my study abroad. I also presented my research results in some seminars. I look forward to attending many more events.
