Mrs. Marwa Muhammad Idris works as a faculty member in the Department of Libraries and Information at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Tripoli as a specialist in the field of libraries and information. She taught a number of courses for undergraduate students. In addition to her teaching duties, Mrs. Marwa assumed a number of additional tasks within her department. Quality coordinator in the department (2020), and supervisor of the study and examination system from (2021) until now, and coordinator of study and examinations in the department in the period (2020 - 2023). She also evaluates, discusses, and supervises graduation projects and master’s theses for the department’s students, and She is currently the department's graduate studies coordinator.

Careers

Mrs. Marwa began her work in the Library and Information Department at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Tripoli as a teaching assistant in (2008). Then, after obtaining her master’s degree in (2010), she worked as an assistant lecturer during the years (2010 - 2014). She was sent by the University of Tripoli to Egypt to obtain a doctorate degree in March of 2014. After her return in 2019, she joined the department again, with the rank of lecturer, since September 22, 2019. She obtained the degree of assistant professor in March 2023. He moved to the University of Tripoli to Egypt to obtain a doctorate degree in March 2014. Research Interests

Mrs. Marwa has research interests related to the information and knowledge society, and national information planning. She also has interests in metadata and electronic archiving. In the field of published research, she has articles published in local peer-reviewed scientific journals in the field of specialization, which have been published, including: the Journal of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Tripoli, entitled (The Information Industry: Between Concepts and Trends), and the Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences Research, entitled (Information Systems in... Libraries and information centers). Participation in the first scientific conference of the Department of Libraries and Information in Libya. The research paper that was participated in was entitled (Intellectual property rights in light of the digital environment).

External Activities

Discussing master’s theses from outside the university, in addition to confidential evaluation of a number of master’s theses and scientific articles for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
