• Ms. Salma Al-Abbasi has held various roles since joining the Libraries and Information Department at the Faculty of Arts, University of Tripoli:

      1.    Teaching Assistant at the Libraries and Information Department, Faculty of Arts, University of Tripoli:             From 2013 to 2021.

      2.    Faculty Member at the Libraries and Information Department, University of Tripoli: Since 2021 until the         present.

     3.    Study and Examinations Coordinator at the Libraries and Information Department, University of Tripoli:        Academic year 2023/2024.

Careers

       ·         Ms. Salma Al-Abbasi began her professional career in the Libraries and Information Department at the                    Faculty of Arts, University of Tripoli as a teaching assistant in 2013, and continued until 2021.

·         After obtaining her master’s degree in 2021, she worked as an assistant lecturer since then.

·         She held the position of Study and Examinations Coordinator at the Libraries and Information   Department for the academic year 2023/2024.

Research Interests

Research Interests:

•          Indexing and Classification Science.

•          Technological Development and Its Impact on Libraries and Information Centres.
