Roles

Arraid's primary role is a lecturer at the department of Library and Information Science at the University of Tripoli

Arraid's teaching has largely focused on information systems and Automated applications for information institutions However, since his appointment as a Reader at the University of Benghazi, Arraid has focused on open source integrated systems for the purpose of automation of information institutions, whether building and controlling collections or organizing and storing documents, as well as designing various automated information services particularly retrieval systems. In order to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of information institutions, Arraid designed and implemented a series of training courses and discussion groups to develop the skills of employees to use automated applications in some information institutions, such as the Central Library of the University of Benghazi and the National Library, as an example, but not limited to.
