Master’s Thesis Defense in English Language by Researcher Iman Mustafa Masoud Suleiman
The Master’s thesis of Iman Mustafa Masoud Suleiman, a student in the Department of English Language at the Faculty of Arts and Languages, University of Tripoli, was defended on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. The thesis is entitled:
“Rendering Populism: A Corpus-Assisted Critical Discourse Analysis of Donald Trump's Narrative in Al Jazeera Arabic and BBC Arabic.”
The thesis defense was held in the Faculty’s Defense Hall at 9:00 a.m.
The Thesis Defense Committee, established pursuant to the decision of the President of the University, No. (2081) of 2026, consisted of:

- Dr. Abu Al-Qasim Miftah Al-Shaqmani, Assistant Professor at the Libyan Academy — External Examiner.
