ELAIADI JEHAWI is one of the staff members at the department of 3 faculty of 19. He is working as a since 2-2011. He teaches several subjects in his major and has several puplications in the field of his interest.

Elaiadi Abdel Salam Al-Jahawi is one of the faculty members in the Spanish Language Department at the College of Languages. Mr. Al-Ayadi Abdel Salam Al-Jahawi has been working at the University of Tripoli as an assistant professor since 2-2011 and has many scientific publications in his field of specialization. He assumed several tasks within the college, including the Quality Coordinator, the Head of the Faculty Members Syndicate, and now the Head of the College’s Spanish Language Department.

Careers

Before joining the academic field, I had the opportunity to join the diplomatic field as a translator and assistant in the commercial and consular offices of the Argentine and Venezuelan embassies, as well as a translator in companies and the Spanish embassy working in Libya from 2007 until 2011. And then I joined the teaching profession in the Spanish language department at the University of Tripoli As a collaborator from 2009 until 2011, after that I joined the department as a Qar faculty member in February 2011. During the year 2014, I obtained, with the help and success of God, the accurate thesis (PhD) from the University of Granada, Spain, and in the year 2016 I was assigned as the head of the Department of Quality and Evaluation Performance in the same college until 2018. During this period, the desire to update the academic system within the department increased in order to keep pace with the development in the field of teaching Spanish to Arab students

Research Interests

Most of the interests in this specialization are researching the methodologies of learning and teaching Spanish as a foreign language, where several posts have been made in several international journals, for example, but not limited to (Tonodigital Brazil, Quijote Spain, Journal of the Faculty of Languages in Tripoli.). As well as interest in the field of translation from Arabic to Spanish and vice versa, because of its great importance in developing the language skills of the bitch and the faculty member alike. In order to build and develop the capabilities of the faculty members, I participated in capacity development courses offered by the Spanish Cervantes Foundation via the Internet, and I benefited greatly from them in my field of specialization.

External Activities

For  my external work as a Spanish speaker and professor focuses on translation from and into the Spanish language. Translating books and works for the benefit of Libyan institutions for the purpose of public benefit. As well as simultaneous translation during official visits of delegations to Spanish-speaking countries.

Also among the fields of the Spanish language is teaching the Spanish language to those interested in it, including employees, academics, and others in Libyan institutions.
