Mufida Al-Hatemi is a faculty member in the Department of Social Service at the College of Arts, Tripoli. Ms. Mufida Al-Hatemi has been working at the University of Tripoli as an associate professor and has many scientific publications in her field of specialization

These are my academic qualifications: - Obtained a specialized bachelor’s degree in applied social sciences - Department of Social Welfare with a general grade of “good” and a grade of (37%). - Obtained a postgraduate diploma in social care with a general grade of (very good) and a grade of (17%). - Obtained a Master’s degree in applied social sciences/specialization in social care in the year 1966 AD, and the subject of the thesis is/the phenomenon of drug addiction and the role of social service in dealing with it - a field study at Al-Razi Hospital for Psychiatric and Mental Diseases - Ziyad Department in the city of Tripoli. - Obtained a doctorate degree from the Department of Research and Studies Social Studies in the Arab Republic of Egypt, with first class honors, and the subject of the thesis is (the social role of residential care institutions in raising adolescents).

  - Participation in workshops and scientific conferences with research papers, the most recent of which was in 2018, in participation with the Ain Zara Municipal Council with a paper entitled - Displacement.

- Participation in the training workshop on how to operate the new website of the University of Tripoli/Faculty of Arts, 10/23/2023.

- Participation in the International Scientific Conference (Social Service in the Arab World between the Problem of Recognition and the Reality of Practice), April 2021, with a research paper entitled (The Family as an Institution and its Role in the Child’s Life).

- Quality Coordinator in the Social Service Department 2020-2021 AD.

- Chairman of the Postgraduate Studies Committee, Department of Social Service, 2020 AD.

- Participating in the activities of the scientific symposium entitled Security Challenges in Libyan Society (Problems, Solutions), which was held at the University of Tripoli (October 25-26, 2021) with a research paper entitled The social and economic impacts resulting from the spread of drugs and the role of social service in dealing with them.

- Participation in the training course (Young research in the humanities and social sciences is a tool for development in Libya) organized by the Institute for Contemporary Maghreb Research in Tunis, from October 25-29, 2021.
