Roles

Professor Salma Al-Farjani has been a faculty member in the Department of Social Services at the Faculty of Arts, Swani Branch, at Tripoli University since 2013. During her tenure, she has undertaken numerous responsibilities, including serving as the study and examinations coordinator for the department in 2014-2015. In 2016-2017, she was also appointed as the coordinator for general courses at the Faculty of Arts, Swani, and as the coordinator for field training at the Department of Social Services in 2018-2019. Currently, she is tasked with supervising a group of students academically, in addition to being a core faculty member in the department.

Professor Salma Al-Farjani went through different stages of education, completing her preparatory stage in 1998. She obtained her secondary school certificate in 2001. She excelled in her university studies at the Faculty of Arts, Swani different stages of education, completing her preparatory stage in 1998. She obtained her secondary school certificate in 2001. She excelled in her university studies at the Faculty of Arts, Swani Branch, graduating with distinction in 2004-2005. She was appointed as a teaching assistant in the Department of Social Services in 2007-2008. Later, she earned her Master's degree in Social Services in 2012-2013 from Helwan University in Egypt.

Throughout her career, she has held various roles, including serving as the study and examinations coordinator for the department in 2014-2015, coordinator for general courses at the Faculty of Arts, Swani, in 2016-2017, and coordinator for field training at the Department of Social Services in 2018-2019. She has taught several specialized courses including Introduction to Social Services, Introduction to Social Care, Working with Individuals, Working with Groups, Social Problems, Criminology, and Fundamentals of Sociology. She supervised graduation projects, participated in project discussions, and supervised students during field training.

Research Interests

Professor Salma Al-Farjani is deeply committed to collective and voluntary work, particularly in the educational field, which relies on the professional specialization of the professor (community service). Additionally, she is dedicated to addressing the issues and challenges within the educational field and contributes to mitigating their development through her professional study and research.
