Arwa Abdel Majeed Muhammad Al-Mahjoubi is one of the faculty members at the Faculty of Arts, University of Tripoli. Careers

Professor Arwa obtained a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Arts, University of Tripoli, Department of Tourism Studies, in 2012, with a very good general grade. She then worked as a teaching assistant in the Department of Tourism Studies, with a ninth-grade grade. Through her work in the department as a teaching assistant, Ms. Arwa taught some subjects, participated in supervising the conduct of exams in the department, and supervised the department’s incoming and outgoing mail. In 2019, Ms. Arwa obtained a master’s degree from the Academy of Graduate Studies, School of Administrative and Financial Sciences. Research Interests

*One of the most important research fields in which Professor Arwa Haya works is tourism and hospitality, and she is currently working on a research project related to tourism security. * Interested in studying tourism media topics and its role in preserving the Libyan cultural heritage.

External Activities

In addition to her work as a researcher and lecturer at the university, Professor Arwa worked in various tourism companies, including the Four Seasons Company. *Professor Arwa worked as a collaborator at Al-Fayhaa University, a private university. * Participation in an external conference (Atlas) in Morocco * Attending many tourism conferences and seminars * Participation in volunteer work in the management of parks in the Municipal Council (Tajoura).
