Roles

I am Dr. [Menegh alazzabi ], a dentist with a Master’s degree in Operative Dentistry from Al-Azhar University – Girls’ Branch, Cairo. I work as a faculty member, delivering both theoretical lectures and clinical training to students in educational dental clinics. I have academic and clinical experience, and I am dedicated to advancing the quality of education and restorative dental care.

Careers

I began my academic career as a teaching assistant in the Department of Oral Medicine and Preventive Dentistry, where I contributed to both the educational and clinical aspects of general oral health and assisted in the training of undergraduate students.

Over time, I developed a strong interest in the field of Operative Dentistry, which led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Operative Dentistry at Al-Azhar University – Girls’ Branch in Cairo. Following the completion of my postgraduate studies, I joined the Department of Operative Dentistry as a faculty member. In this role, I deliver theoretical lectures and supervise clinical training in educational dental clinics, while actively contributing to curriculum development and enhancing the quality of clinical education.

Research Interests

My research interests focus on the use of natural materials and their role in promoting enamel remineralization and preventing dental caries, particularly plant-based and bioactive compounds. I am also interested in the applications of nanotechnology in dentistry, especially in developing innovative materials that enhance caries prevention and improve restorative performance.

External Activities

I actively participate in community and public health initiatives beyond my academic role, including involvement in oral health awareness campaigns in schools and healthcare centers. I also take part in local and international workshops and scientific conferences, aiming to bridge academic knowledge with community needs through educational and volunteer programs focused on preventive dentistry and oral disease prevention.
